Cultivations

There are many soil types, each will deliver slightly differently therefore it is essential to understand the factors that effect soil health; biological, chemical and physical. The physical element is probably the hardest to improve and maintain but minimising the impact of on-farm practices in your own fields will pay dividends. Unfortunately, every field will be different , so methods will need to be tapered to soil type, current structure and crop to be planted. Getting the seed bed right before drilling is key to the performance and final yield of your sugar beet crop.
